Moderated by: C h e w C h e w, Starbound - Catacombs #1 - Erchius Mining Facility Starbound is one of my favorite games of all time, especially when added onto with the modpack known as Frackin' Universe. To show my love for the game, I will begin a series of articles known as Catacombs, where I explore my favorite dungeons from Starbound and Frackin' Universe. Starbound is a whole new kind of mining, crafting and building sandbox. The player can obtain 20 Erchius Crystals upon their initial completion of the Erchius Mining Facility quest. Starbound is somehow eight years old, but with its gentle nature, pixelly graphics, and procedural exploration, People are powerful enemies found at the end of missions as a challenge for the player to defeat. They have high health and powerful attacks, making them much more difficult to defeat than normal enemies. People must be defeated in order to progress into the game's storyline and unlock the next mission.

Can't beat Erchius Mining Facility quest. Brand new to Starbound, so please forgive me. I had assumed that the first few story quests should be played first, which then fixes the FTL drive and the sandbox opens up. However, I am finding the second quest,Erchius Mining Facility, too difficult.
